JamOige is an event that takes place every 3 years and is specifically tailored for 9-11 yr old Macaoimh. It will entail 4 days and 3 nights camping from Friday 1st June to Monday 4st June 2012 at Ardgillian Castle, North Co. Dublin and it is anticipated that almost 5,000 Macaoimh /Cubs from throughout Ireland will attend and participate in the fun, activities and events based on a theme of Gulliver’s Travels.
Full security, serviced toilets and 24 hour First Aid will be on-site. Each group participating must provide its own transport and cooking. At this stage, we estimate that including a participant fee of 60Euro, the overall cost per Macaoimh will be 120Euro approx.
